We found the source of our fruit fly problem. It's honestly so disgusting I don't think I can write about it yet. It gives me the heebie-geebies. And I didn't even see it! Philip did! We're not totally done cleaning it... but Philip said he needed a break.
I almost threw up and cried at the same time when he told me.
Bleh... my skin is crawling now.
After this incident, I made a detailed cleaning list for every room in the house. I usually clean stuff... but I don't CLEEEEAN stuff, like deep clean. KWIM? I am going to start doing this tomorrow, cause mommy had a melt down tonight.

That is EXACTLY what happened to me once in my early wife years. Fruit flies every where, tried about a gazillion things to get rid of them. Then finally, found a disgusting bag of potatoes/fruit fly nursery. Ick!!!
